Why It Matters

Every week, our projects help reduce isolation, improve wellbeing, and prevent young people from slipping through the cracks. Our inclusive approach supports over 50 young people and 100+ families, turning disconnection into community.

"An incredibly energetic, inclusive, positive organisation, run on a shoe string by amazing volunteers. Constantly thinking of new activities and services to provide and shining a light on all that is positive about neurodiversity. Well deserving of national recognition, this organisation should be offered as a blue print for other grass roots organisations and local authority provision."

"We should all be doing exactly what these incredible volunteers at We Are F.I.S.H CIC are actually doing. Celebrating and encouraging our young neurodivergent people to be themselves, without the stigma which often comes with derogatory "labels". The volunteers are inspiring and really do have our young people and the families at the heart of everything they do."

"The amazing group of people who run this organisation provide lifelines, are accepting of everyone and also provide inclusive safe spaces. They have also facilitated SEN training and provided vital SEN help and advice to those who do not have any other place to turn to. They are remarkable, welcoming individuals who make a huge positive difference to their community and set the bar high when it comes to inclusion and aspiring others to be equally so."
