"Empowering Neurodivergent Voices. Strengthening Society."

What We Do

  • Creative Paths - Regular activity and social sessions from outdoor adventures, Art sessions, Wildlife workshops, Music projects and much more.  Sessions are for children, young people and their families, building friendships, building confidence and peer support from each other.
  • Sussex Pavilion - offers a bright, accessible upstairs hall available for hire to community groups, charities, clubs, and organisations.
  • TickArt Office - A creative art hub for children and young people to express themselves through painting, crafts, community art projects and youth enterprise workshops.
  • Parent Support - Peer Groups, mentoring, training and advocacy for parents and carers navigating difficult systems.
  • Community Events - Social gatherings, creative showcases and volunteer opportunities that connect people and places.
  • Neurodiversity in the Workplace - Supporting businesses to become neuro-affirming spaces and empowering them to be great employers of neurodivergent talent.

Why It Matters

Every week, our projects help reduce isolation, improve wellbeing, and prevent young people from slipping through the cracks. Our inclusive approach supports over 50 young people and 100+ families, turning disconnection into community.

"An incredibly energetic, inclusive, positive organisation, run on a shoe string by amazing volunteers. Constantly thinking of new activities and services to provide and shining a light on all that is positive about neurodiversity. Well deserving of national recognition, this organisation should be offered as a blue print for other grass roots organisations and local authority provision."

"We should all be doing exactly what these incredible volunteers at We Are F.I.S.H CIC are actually doing. Celebrating and encouraging our young neurodivergent people to be themselves, without the stigma which often comes with derogatory "labels". The volunteers are inspiring and really do have our young people and the families at the heart of everything they do."

"The amazing group of people who run this organisation provide lifelines, are accepting of everyone and also provide inclusive safe spaces. They have also facilitated SEN training and provided vital SEN help and advice to those who do not have any other place to turn to. They are remarkable, welcoming individuals who make a huge positive difference to their community and set the bar high when it comes to inclusion and aspiring others to be equally so."
