About Us
We Are F.I.S.H CIC (Friendly, Inclusive, Supportive and Helpful) is a community-rooted organisation in North East Lincolnshire, created by parents of neurodivergent children who understand first-hand the gaps families face.
We exist to empower, uplift and advocate for families of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) through practical support, inclusive provision and community-led change.
We believe no family should feel isolated, judged or left behind. Everything we do is built around connection, confidence and compassion, creating spaces where children, young people, parents and carers can truly thrive.

What We Deliver
Our programmes are shaped by lived experience and local need. Through grant funding, partnerships and community support, we provide free or low-cost, high-impact opportunities that make a measurable difference.
Support for SEND Families
Practical workshops, sensory-friendly sessions, guidance and peer support for parents and carers navigating complex systems.
We reduce stress, build knowledge and strengthen families’ ability to advocate for their children.
Outdoor Wellbeing Projects
Nature-based activities, environmental sessions and accessible outdoor experiences designed to improve mental health and reduce isolation.
These sessions support emotional regulation, physical wellbeing and family bonding.
Confidence & Skills Development
Programmes that help parents and carers rebuild confidence, develop new skills and reconnect with their own ambitions.
By strengthening adults, we strengthen entire families.
Social Connection & Inclusion
Safe, welcoming spaces where families can meet others who “get it,” volunteer, share experiences and build lasting support networks.
We create belonging, not just activities.

Why Our Work Matters

We Are F.I.S.H CIC is led by people with lived experience. We understand the emotional, practical and systemic challenges families face, and we respond with empathy, action and community voice.
Our impact includes:
- Reducing isolation
- Improving parental wellbeing
- Increasing confidence and self-advocacy
- Creating inclusive opportunities for neurodivergent children and young people
- Strengthening community cohesion
When families feel supported, children flourish. When communities include everyone, everyone benefits.
