Announcements
Sensory Equipment Funding
Thanks to funding from the North East Lincolnshire Council through the Support for Community Resources programme, we are strengthening our commitment to inclusive, neurodivergent-affirming spaces.
We are currently awaiting delivery of new specialist sensory equipment, designed to better support regulation, engagement and emotional wellbeing for the children and young people who attend our sessions. In addition, new black-out blinds will soon be installed in our upstairs hall, significantly improving how we can utilise the hall for our regular bookings and our social groups.
Launching the Sidney Sussex Community Plan
We are pleased to announce the beginning of the Sidney Sussex Community Plan, a collaborative initiative designed to strengthen local voice, identify priorities, and shape meaningful action within our neighbourhood.
This process will bring together residents, families, community groups, and partners to identify what matters most in Sidney Sussex Ward and develop practical, community-led solutions. The plan will focus on improving inclusion, wellbeing, opportunity, and local pride, ensuring that future activity is informed directly by those who live and work here.
Sidney Sussex Community Feast – We’re Coming Back!
We’re bringing the Sidney Sussex Community Feast back to Pitstop in the Park, Sidney Park, and this time, it’s going to run monthly throughout the warmer months.
The Community Feast is about more than food. It’s about connection, belonging and creating regular, welcoming opportunities for residents to come together in a relaxed outdoor space. These events strengthen community ties, reduce isolation and build local pride.

Mini Moshers is a parent and baby group designed to support early bonding, development and connection through music, movement and shared play.
Their sessions provide a relaxed, welcoming space for parents and carers to attend with their babies and toddlers, offering an alternative to traditional baby groups. Mini Moshers is inclusive and mindful of families who may experience barriers to participation, including those affected by isolation, anxiety, sensory sensitivities or additonal needs.

Future Trainers Club exists to provide free and low-cost opportunities for children and young people, including young carers and those with additional support needs, to engage in social learning and personal growth through play.
